Så var der lige en sekretær der fortalte mig at der snart skulle begynde et "Crime-program" på kanalen SBS hver fredag kl. 20.30 ved navnet "Unit 1". Det skulle være meget populært i Danmark og desuden prisbelønnet. Jeg var bare helt blank. Det var først efter jeg havde fået fri fra arbejdet og snakkede med Søren om det, at det slog mig; REJSEHOLDET! Hurra. Så nu skal vi sidde klinet foran skærmen hver fredag de næste mange uger ind i fremtiden. YES!

The members of the unit are devastated and worried when his replacement is a young woman, Ingrid Dahl, instead of the older candidate in line for promotion. Ingrid goes down the wrong track from the beginning, but when she admits her mistake the unit begins to work with her. Her husband, Soren, supports her move to the more demanding job and so does her teenage son. Initially, the unit looks for Torben's killer, but when Ingrid realises that Henning might have been the target, all the clues begin to make sense. This show is an International Emmy Award-winning production.
